New Callaway Big Bertha Irons Produce Fun Results

Play indicates a joyful avocation; one that should not, in and of itself, produces anguish and anxiety. Playing should be fun. Playing golf, although both historically and hysterically referenced as destroying human relationships leading to untold tragedy and sorrow, also should be fun. The folks at Callaway Golf get the idea. So, new Callaway Big Bertha irons are designed to create that fun-filled feeling one gets watching a golf ball sail down the fairway or land precisely in a chosen spot near the hole on a green.

Callaway distinctly points out that the company’s clubs offer the two “Fs” all golfers seek: Feel and Forgiveness. These characteristics have produced an ever-growing base of Callaway golf equipment enthusiasts. This is particularly so when it comes to the new Callaway Big Bertha irons.

For the most part, consumers are convinced that the innovative design and construction of Callaway clubs allows average-skilled players the ability to make shots that perhaps were once limited to more practiced or lower handicapped players. Many users, converts to the use of new Callaway Big Bertha irons, claim the ability to shape shots and drive the ball longer and straighter than clubs they’ve previously tried. Some even claim the emergence of a new-found confidence that leads to better ball-striking skill development since frustration has been replaced with fun.

These clubs are extremely forgiving based on the technology employed in their construction that includes moving club head weight toward the heel and toe that allows for less distance lost when miss hit. A wider width sole allows for better pass through when ball striking even on the hardest, flat fairway conditions. The new Callaway Big Bertha irons employ the company’s patented VFT technology of variable face thicknesses with a low center of gravity producing the same results as drivers and fairway woods do.

• The clubs maximize perimeter weighting which increases the “forgiveness” quotient so many not-so-well-hit shots appear as good ones rather than miss hits. The short straight hollow hosel technology developed by Callaway redistributes the weight through the clubhead, a method that creates a greater degree of forgiveness.

• The constant change in loft degrees between clubs eliminates many “gap” situations between a sand and a pitching wedge.

The new Callaway Big Bertha irons feature a choice between traditionally constructed clubs and what is designated as an “i-brid” clubs that employs a blend of accuracy and control associated with irons with the versatility of a hybrid that produces greater ball-striking forgiveness and increased distance. Also, this same technology helps produce better placement control even when hit a little off center.

Additionally, in men’s versions of new Callaway Big Bertha irons, number 3 through 4 irons are available in both the i-brid and traditional choices. The women’s version offers i-brids and traditional selections in the number 4 through 7 irons.

Sets are available in both stainless steel and graphite shaft selections.

Callaway continues to distinguish the company as the forerunner in golf design and manufacturing available in today’s market.
